About Kivu Expeditions Ltd
Kivu Expeditions Ltd has been a significant player in the tourism development of East Africa since 2010, engaging in extensive tourism research, product development, tour planning, and community-based tourism (CBT) development.
The Nengo Hill Adventure is one of Kivu Expeditions Ltd's managed tourism products. Development of the project started in early 2020. Currently, the first phase is fully operational — this includes the hiking trail, a viewpoint platform, a mountain swing, and a cozy camping site with a fireplace.
At Kivu Expeditions Ltd, we have deep expertise in both tourism and community engagement. We have travelled extensively across the region, speak most official East African local languages, and maintain an ever-growing network of partners in travel, tours, and accommodation — ensuring every visitor to Gisenyi has a memorable experience.
